How it Works
We raise calves throughout the year. When the time comes, we will deliver the calf to the butcher and then you will pick up your beef at Southwest City Processing (around a 45-minute drive northwest of Bentonville). They will have your cuts vacuum sealed, dated, and labeled with your name. If you would like to reserve a beef, please Contact Us and we will get back to you with available spots!

You can order any cut of beef you would like (sirloin tip, rib eye, round steak, pikes peak roast, etc.) and whatever is not specified will be ground beef. Half a calf will provide the average family of four beef for an entire year, and the per pound price is lower than what you will find at most grocery stores. If this is your first time ordering beef this way, we can help walk you through the ordering process.

Prices vary depending on size of the calf at time of butchering. Once fully grown, our calves weigh between 800-1000 pounds. At this time, we can only sell whole or half calves. A half calf typically yields 160 to 200 pounds of take-home beef! Before purchasing, you should consider your freezer storage space. A good rule of thumb is one cubic foot of freezer space for each 35-40 pounds of cut and wrapped meat. If this is too large of an order, we encourage you to split the order with another family or friend.
